05 July 2015

Slide6
Welcome to a Shark Week themed Blog Hop! Teachers know that kids learn more when they’re excited and engaged. A team of bloggers have come together to help your students take a BITE out of learning with a theme your students are sure to love!

This won't involve any actual swimming with sharks.  Instead, you get to traveling around to almost blogs and chomp on some shark freebies.  They'll be so man-eating puns that'll sound fishy and mako you go crazy--but you won't care because of all the great white stuff your getting.

It would be finpossible and findefensible if you didn't take this opportunateeth and visit all the wonderful bloggers.  In fact, you might even want to check out the rest of their blog content before you leave for warmer waters.
Now, grab this Shark Security Force sampler.  It's a mix of research and fun for kids as they learn about specific sharks around the world, research endangered species, identify where sharks live, and then build a device so sharks can survive on land.

The full version of this project based learning activity mixes research and James Bond together.  The end result is a team of sharks that go around the world saving the oceans and protecting the environment.

Be sure to go for a swim and visit Luckeyfrog's Lillypad for something finomenal! She's next and has another steal for you.
